Delicious breakfasts and local charm
Staying at Mestizo Antigua was a delightful experience with warm, kind staff. Each morning, we indulged in a breakfast that was both delicious and beautifully presented. The location couldn’t be beat—just a short walk to the main square and vibrant restaurants.
However, the room felt a bit cramped with minimal furniture, making it challenging to unpack comfortably. Additionally, while the coffee could be hit-or-miss, the manager’s recommendation for a cappuccino did save the day on our second morning.

What a gem! The rooftop area was perfect for lounging, and the coffee in the mornings was the best! Only downside was the AC, which struggled a bit in the heat.

Had a great time with friends! The staff was super helpful, and we loved that we could get breakfast even when we returned late from our tours. We visited the tour desk for some fun activities and the 24-hour front desk was handy too. The atmosphere was inviting, and the rooftop area was a perfect hangout spot after a long day.
The room was quite small, which made it a bit uncomfortable, especially with the heat. We ended up needing to keep the door open for airflow.

Stunning decor and breathtaking volcano views. Dinner setup was magical but room was cramped.

Beautiful courtyards and a rooftop sitting area made for a charming atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and quick to assist with any requests, like an iron and extra hangers. The breakfast was delightful, featuring home-made ice cream alongside other tasty options. However, the room felt a bit cramped, and the free-standing air conditioner was less effective, requiring the window to remain slightly open, which could be inconvenient.
